Do I need an appointment for urgent care?
No appointment is ever needed for urgent care at BeachCare. Simply
walk in any day of the week during our opening hours — Monday
through Friday 8 AM–7 PM and weekends 9 AM–4 PM.
Does BeachCare accept Medicare and Medicaid?
Yes. BeachCare is a certified Medicare and Medicaid provider and
also accepts most major commercial insurance plans including Blue
Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, Humana and
Tricare. Self-pay patients are always welcome.
Are you accepting new patients for family medicine?
Yes, BeachCare is actively accepting new patients for ongoing
family medicine and primary care. Call us at (252) 808-3696 or
book online to schedule your first appointment as a new patient.
Can I get a DOT physical without an appointment?
Yes. DOT physical exams are available on a walk-in basis at
BeachCare. We are FMCSA-certified and provide same-day DOT medical
cards. We also offer pre-employment, school and sports physicals —
all walk-in available.
How do I schedule a telehealth visit?
You can book a telehealth visit online via our appointment page or
call us at (252) 808-3696. Telehealth visits are conducted via
secure HIPAA-compliant video and are covered by Medicare, Medicaid
and most major insurance plans.
How do I request my medical records?
To request your medical records, please call us at (252) 808-3696
or send a written request by fax to (252) 808-2022 or by email to
info.beachcaremedical@gmail.com. Please allow 5–10 business days
for processing.
Is parking available at the clinic?
Yes. Free parking is available directly in front of the BeachCare
clinic at 5059 Hwy 70 West, Morehead City. The clinic is easily
accessible from US-70 with convenient roadside access.
What should I bring to my first visit?
Please bring a valid government-issued photo ID, your current
insurance card (if applicable), a list of any current medications,
and any relevant prior medical records or referral documents. New
patients should also arrive a few minutes early to complete intake
paperwork.
